He read over the text quickly before shoving the phone back into his pocket. He needed to find Haley.

Haley stood by the punch bowl as she ate a chocolate covered strawberry and looked out at the crowd. It was a decent turn out. Better than she thought it was going to be given the theme. She had to admit she was impressed.

He spotted Haley's dress and headed over. Tapping her on the shoulder, he pushed his mask up onto the top of his head. "You and I need to talk."

Tugging his cousin aside, he pulled out his phone and showed her the text that he'd gotten from B a few days before. "Explain," he said simply.

Haley looked around and shrugged, "I don't know. Maybe she's gone postal. Don't you think something that big would have gotten out a lot sooner via Gossip Girl? Everyone knew about Blair's problem."

He looked her over for a moment before sighing and shoving the phone back into his pocket. "Fine. I'll let you get back to..." Whatever she had been doing before. He didn't believe her but he wasn't going to make a scene. "Where is your date, anyway?"

"He said that he wanted to call his mom." Haley grinned, "She's over at creeper Robby's house for dinner. Apparently, Mrs. Torry works with Robby's dad."

"Small world," he said evenly. "Okay then. I'll let you be." He had to get back to Vanessa to see if she'd gotten this latest text. "Be careful and have fun tonight. Okay?"

"Hold that thought." Vanessa said through her laughter as she rifled through her purse to find her phone. She quickly read the text and the smile that was on her face faded. "We have to get to the chapel." She showed Bri the text.
